iselect software package provides ncurses-based interactive line selection tool, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install iselect
iselect is installed in your system.
Make ensure the iselect package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep iselect *
You will get with iselect package name, version, architecture and description in a table
